BigQuery Direct Connect: "Accessor has already been taken, Action can't be blank, and Action is not included in the list"

Sorry if this topic has already been covered.

When I try to setup by BQ connection, on this screen/step: https://app.mode.com/uniquest/data_sources/google/bigquery?flow=sign_up

I get the following message: "Accessor has already been taken, Action can't be blank, and Action is not included in the list"

I tried searching for a resolution in other topics and searching the help pages, and I have read the following article and followed all the steps: https://mode.com/help/articles/database-specific-connection-information/#google-bigquery

FYI I have setup several other BI tools which also connect to BigQuery quite happily so would like to get to the bottom of this one.
