Visualizing deviations from a mean
Design-ish question. I have a bunch of survey data - 71 questions in total. Responses were agree/neutral/disagree. What my management is asking about is the "positive response rate" i.e. what % chose "agree" broken out by a bunch of different demographics. I'm looking for an interesting way to visualize this.
So what I'll have for each visualization is 71 numbers that are positive if group A responded "agree* at a higher rate than the rest of the population. All I can really think of is something like a tornado diagram...just wondering if anyone has any better ideas.
Thank you for reaching out! It looks like tornado diagram is a good option to address your use case. Unfortunately, Mode doesn't support creating tornado diagram natively. That said, you might be able to do so via Mode's Python notebook using matplotlib. Here is a post on stackoverflow with more details: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/32132773/a-tornado-chart-and-p10-p90-in-python-matplotlib
Thank you for using Mode!
