Logging your Mode usage with webhooks
It's useful to get insights into how your organization members have been using Mode by logging information about query runs all in one place. If you store this information in one file, you can do all kinds of deeper analysis on your Mode usage.
Using webhooks, you can programmatically extract information like the time a query starts or finishes running, its raw text, the parameter used, etc., from each run of the report. All of this information about a single run can be stored in a row that you can append to a CSV log file.
We've posted some sample code in our GitHub repo that shows one way of creating a CSV log file using webhooks. If you have thoughts about other ways of storing this information using webhooks, or ideas for how you might put this log data to use for your organization, let us know in the comments below.
